Why don’t I see a login prompt in Internet Explorer on Windows 10?

Sometimes while using Internet Explorer in Windows 10 you will need to sign-in to a service and you will notice that no login prompt pops up. This is because the login prompt will appear behind the Internet Explorer window. Follow these steps to fix the issue so the login prompt appears in front of the window.

1. Open Internet explorer, click on the ‘Tools’ menu, and select ‘Internet Options’
2. In the ‘Internet Options’ window, select the ‘Security’ tab, select ‘Trusted Sites’, then click on ‘Sites’

3. In the ‘Trusted sites’ window, in the ‘Add this website to the zone:’ box, type in the URL of the website you are having troubles with and click ‘Add’.

Note: Do not enter websites that are not ‘cune.edu’ or ‘cune.org’ websites into the ‘Trusted sites’ zone.

Next click ‘Close’ then ‘OK’ in the ‘Internet Options’ window. Now if you refresh the page the login prompt should appear in front of the window so you don’t need to go searching for it!
