All current Faculty and Staff at CUNE are set up with a Microsoft Office 365 account, and are allowed to install the Microsoft Office 365 suite on up to 5 personal devices for free. You may also use Office online for free from any device.

Note that installing Office will take quite some time depending on your machine. Expect anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.

To install Office or access Office online:

  1. Go to office.com and click Sign In in the upper right corner. 
  2. Sign in with your CUNE email and password. You may be prompted for multi-factor authentication.
  3. To use Office online, simply click on a file in your OneDrive folder listed, or start a new document with one of the apps on the left pane. Note the online apps have a limited feature set compared to the installed versions.
  4. To install Office, click Install Office near the top of the page, and select Office 365 apps.
  5. Follow the prompts on the popup to install Office. 


Do NOT install Office 365 on your CUNE issued desktop or laptop - they already have the correct Office products installed.
