How long may I use my cune.org email and WordPress accounts?
Students may continue to use their legacy cune.org email account and WordPress account after graduation. This helps you to stay in touch with family and friends as you take on a new job and responsibilities, and you have access to resources you developed as a student. As long as you periodically use email and update your WordPress site, you may continue to use them.
If you plan to keep using your cune.org account long-term, there are two things you may want to keep in mind:
-
Protect your account with two-factor authentication. This is one of the best ways you can keep your account secure.
- Cune.org Google account passwords can be reset through Google's password reset tool. If you do not have a recovery method and cannot reset your password, we can help you reset the password after an identity verification process.
If it appears that the email account or WordPress site are no longer being used after a reasonable amount of time (e.g., a year), they may be removed. We will attempt to notify you at your cune.org email address of the pending removal and give you sufficient time to reply. If you confirm that the email account or WordPress site is still being used, it will remain active and continue to be monitored for activity.
