Students may continue to use their cune.org email account and WordPress account after graduation. This helps you to stay in touch with family and friends as you take on a new job and responsibilities, and you have access to resources you developed as a student. As long as you periodically use email and update your WordPress site, you may continue to use them.

If you plan to keep using your cune.org account long-term, there are two things you may want to keep in mind:

  1. Protect your account with two-factor authentication. This is one of the best ways you can keep your account secure.

  2. Changing your password can only be done through accounts.cune.edu. If you need to change your cune.org password, you have to sign in there with your CUNE username (firstname.lastname) and current password to change it. You won't be able to change your password directly through Google.

If it appears that the email account or WordPress site are no longer being used after a reasonable amount of time (e.g., a year), they may be removed. We will attempt to notify you at your cune.org email address of the pending removal and give you sufficient time to reply. If you confirm that the email account or WordPress site is still being used, it will remain active and continue to be monitored for activity.
