How do I find email headers?

Email headers contain a bunch of technical information that tell us more about an email and where it came from. Occasionally we ask people to send us the email headers to help solve a problem.

To find the email message headers using Outlook 2010 or later follow the steps below:

Right-click the message.
Locate View in the menu.
Select View message details.
This opens a window containing the message header information.
Copy and paste those headers into your message to us.
