Microsoft 365 Add-on Apps

When signing up for an online service, you might be tempted to use the "Sign up with Microsoft" button to integrate it with your student.cune.edu or cune.edu account. However, this does not work with our tenant. If it is appropriate to use this with your university account, you can instead create an account with the service using your university email, creating a username and password for the site.

So don't use this button:

Try to sign up via email instead.

If appropriate, you can use a personal Microsoft or Google account to sign in instead of your university account.

We recognize that some of these tools can be valuable. However, it is not guaranteed that all add-ons are safe for our environment, even if they are developed by reputable sources with the best intentions.

As organization-wide add-ons, these require extensive legal, technical, and possibly academic reviews to determine if significant value exists relative to the risk. We simply don't have the resources for such reviews at this time.

We will work to develop a review process at some point in the future.
