How to Export Bookmarks in Chrome
It can be a good idea to export your Bookmarks from your browser prior to transitioning to a different computer or web browser. This may not be necessary if you use a browser profile but can still ensure your favorite websites can be imported into a new experience.
Export Bookmarks
Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser on your computer.

Access Bookmark Manager:
- Click on the three vertical dots (menu) in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Hover over 'Bookmarks' and select 'Bookmark manager'. Alternatively, you can press
Ctrl+Shift+O
to open the Bookmark Manager directly.

Open the Export Option:
- In the Bookmark Manager, click on the three vertical dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select 'Export bookmarks'.

Save the File:
- A dialog box will appear, prompting you to save the bookmarks file. Choose a location on your computer where you want to save the file.
- The file will be saved in HTML format, which can be imported into other browsers or kept as a backup.
