My CUNE FAQ
There's a new web
tool for students, faculty, and staff to use. Here is some information about
what it is and how it will be used.
What is My CUNE?
My CUNE is the platform used to house Banner self-service pages. These pages give access to information related to courses, tuition payments, financial aid, and budgeting and financial resources. These resources were previously accessed through the CUNE portal.
How do I navigate My CUNE?
The direct URL to this tool is https://my.cune.edu. Please take a moment to review our Visual Guide for more information about the site layout.
What will happen to the links and views on the portal?
The current tools accessed through the portal will no longer be available. We will include links to the new My CUNE site on the portal to assist with this transition.
Should I bookmark my.cune.edu?
Yes! If this is a
tool you use regularly, you are encouraged to create a bookmark/favorite to https://my.cune.edu to save the step of logging into the portal. My CUNE uses Microsoft's
Single Sign-on for authentication.
How do the cards work?
My CUNE divides content into topical cards depending on your role. Clicking on a card will open a new
window or browser tab. To navigate back to the card list, simply close the new
window/tab that has been opened.
Why do I get an access denied error when I click on a link?
Card assignments are based on very broad roles in My CUNE. This means that a link may appear to you, even if you don't have explicit access to that tool.
Is My CUNE the new portal?
At this time, My CUNE is only intended as a replacement for the previous self-service tools found on the portal.
Why is this change necessary?
Our old self-service product is moving out of support with our vendor. This has required us to migrate to this updated tool to continue providing these services in a secure and supported environment.
How do I offer feedback about My CUNE?
If you have an idea
that will improve the My CUNE experience, please contact the Helpdesk. Whether
it's an adjustment to an existing card, or a desire for a new card, please let
us know how to make this tool more meaningful.
