Once you have submitted all required paperwork and it has been approved by the Program Director, your practicum placement will be created.
Find your practicum placement in Chalk&Wire by clicking MENU in the upper left-hand corner and selecting My Placements. Note: Placements are only set up by program directors. Students cannot apply for, search for, or propose placements via Chalk&Wire. If you cannot find your placement, please contact your program director.
Select your placement from the list (some students may have more than one placement to choose from).
Scroll down to the Journals section and left-click the Journal name to open the sheet.
Click the New Journal Entry button to open the entry form.
Answer all required questions and Click SAVE at the bottom of the form.
Scroll to the top of the form and click CLOSE.
Your practicum supervisor/mentor will be notified by e-mail that a new entry is awaiting their approval.
